Ghost in The Stocking
Short Story Synopsis
A cantankerous ghost gathers items from the neighborhood and puts them into a little girls Christmas stocking. Every time her parents empty it and return the items the Stocking is filled again.
The little girl named Tracy Smith has to convince her parents it is not her doing it, but the spirit of a little boy who died in the house 100 years ago.
Tracy begins to uncover the mystery of why the little boy continues to take stuff and put it in the Stocking. She discovers something more sinister than a mischievous spirit. One hundred years ago, the little boy had to do the same thing when he was alive in order to protect his parents and other people in the neighborhood from an evil Leshy who loves to steal and kill accept after making a deal with the little boy named Ralf Pinston.
The Fairy Circles
A group of friends decides to go hiking in the mountains of Maine in Acadia National Park when they stumble upon strange, large circles on the ground made of mushrooms and wildflowers. One by one they start to disappear, only to be found laying in the circles a couple hours later. Their friends start to grow suspicious of the ones that disappeared because they do not seem like themselves. That is when the killing starts. They have to race against time to save their friends and bring their souls back, but they only have nine days to do it, or they are gone forever.
“Henry! Shut the door before he gets out!”
Jim tried to get to the front door to shut it, but it was too late as Max (a giant Golden Retriever) lept, tearing through the screen of the storm door.
“No! Max come back!” Marcy screamed.
“I’m sorry,” Jim said. “He was too fast.”
“We need to go after him,” Marcy said with tears now in her eyes. “He is going to die out there. They will kill him!”
